He is a Partner in the firm and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Malawi. He was admitted to the Malawi Bar on 13th May 2010 to practice law as a legal practitioner in the Courts of Malawi.

Mr Ngunde first joined the Legal Aid Department in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs where he worked from February 2009 to April 2011. In May 2011, Mr Ngunde joined the Anti-Corruption Bureau where he worked up to May 2012. In June 2012, he joined Sacranie, Gow & Co, a leading commercial and corporate law firm in Malawi and worked closely under the supervision of Mr Shabir Latif, Senior Counsel, until August 2017.

Mr Ngunde has experience in complex litigation, legal advisory services and drafting of various transactions including land and commercial transactions. His experience extends to, among others, the following areas: commercial law, banking law, law of contract, company law, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, law of torts, land law, probate, debt collection, consumer protection law, criminal law and regulatory framework in Malawi. He has represented, advised and assisted various clients including reputable companies (both local and international) and individuals. Whilst working for Sacranie, Gow & Company, his work involved representing tobacco companies, petroleum companies, companies in the tea and coffee industries, companies in the hospitality industry and security companies, among others.

Mr Ngunde served as Chairperson of the Fundraising and Events Subcommittee of the Malawi Law Society in the years 2016 and 2017. He is the current Treasurer of the Malawi Law Society.
